Pizza Stuffed Pretzels
- 1 package (14 Oz.) Prepared Pizza Crust
- 1/2 cups Pizza Or Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese
- 1 cup Pepperoni
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 Tablespoon Italian Or Pizza Seasoning
- 1) Roll the pizza dough out on a lightly floured surface and cut into four strips of fairly equal lengths.
- 2) Then lightly spread pizza sauce down the middle of each strip.
- Carefully make a line of shredded cheese & pepperoni down the middle as well.
- Be careful not to add too much!
- 3) Begin to roll edges together, pinching the seam shut.
- You may want to use a smidge of water to make it sticky.
- Keep rolling and pinching until you have a pizza tube.
- 4) Carefully wrap into a pretzel shape: bring end pieces around to make a U, then bring each tip in and over the middle of the Us bottom.
- 5) Place on a baking sheet.
- I used stoneware and it worked beautifully; the edges were slightly crisp.
- Next, mix one egg white with 1 tablespoon Italian or pizza seasonings and brush over the pretzel tops.
- 6) Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
