Baked Lasagne
- 1 lb. sausage or hamburger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes (2 c.)
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 10 oz. lasagne noodles
- 3 c. cream-style cottage cheese
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. oregano
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
- Brown meat; drain.
- Add next 6 ingredients.
- Simmer 30 minutes. Cook noodles in salted water until tender.
- Combine cottage cheese with eggs, seasoning and Parmesan cheese.
- Spread 1/2 noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; spread 1/2 cottage cheese mixture over noodles.
- Add 1/2 Mozzarella cheese and 1/2 the meat; repeat.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
