Applesauce Pecan Crumb Cake Recipe

  2. Preheat oven to 350 .

  4. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring c.; level with a knife.
  5. Combine flour and next 4 ingredients (flour through nutmeg) in a large bowl; make a well in center of mix.
  6. Combine buttermilk, applesauce, 1 Tbsp.
  7. butter, egg, and egg white in a bowl; add in to flour mix, stirring just till moist.

  9. Spoon batter into a 9-inch round cake pan coated with cooking spray.
  10. Combine pecans and remaining ingredients in small bowl; stir with a fork till mix resembles coarse meal.
  11. Sprinkle proportionately over top of cake.
  12. Bake at 350 for 35 min or possibly till a wooden pick inserted it center comes out clean.
  13. Yield: 8 servings.
