Baked Tomatoes And Corn Recipe

  1. Pour off the liquid from the canned tomatoes.
  2. Simmer the tomatoes with the sugar and spices for about 5 min.
  3. Add in the corn, green or possibly red pepper, onion, chili colorado or possibly chili sauce, margarine, and salt.
  4. Cook slowly for about 15 min.
  5. Spray a casserole dish with non-stick vegetable spray.
  6. Place alternate layers of vegetable mix, bread crumbs, and cheese, ending up with a layer of cheese.
  7. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 20 min, or possibly till the top is brown.
  8. Serves 6.
