Clams Casino

  1. Preheat oven to 450.
  2. Open clams and discard top shell.
  3. Place clams in a shallow baking pan.
  4. In a saucepan, melt 4 tablespoon butter and saute the garlic and green pepper for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Add remaining butter, lemon juice, and bread crumbs, mixing thoroughly.
  6. Place 1 teaspoon of mixture on top of each clam and bake for 10 minutes.
