Hot And Spicy Jambalaya Recipe
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 3 c. rice
- 3 lbs. shrimp
- 2 lbs. warm sausage
- 2 lbs. ham
- 2 med. onions
- 7 toes garlic
- 2 tbsp. parsley flakes
- 3 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
- 6 cans water (measured in the tomato sauce cans)
- Remove sausage from casing and fry in oil till brown.
- Drain and set aside.
- Saute/fry onions, garlic and parsley in butter in a large pot till onions are soft.
- Add in tomato sauce and fry till thick, about 15-20 min.
- Add in water and cook about 10 min.
- Add in ham and sausage.
- Cook for about 15 min.
- Add in shrimp and cook till shrimp are pink, about 10 min.
- Let mix come to a boil.
- Add in rice and cook covered on low heat for 30 min or possibly till rice is cooked.
- Stir after 15 min.
- Serves 15 to 20.
