Steamed Herbal Chicken
- 15 whole Dried Scallops
- 8 slices Slices Dried Chinese Yam (Huai Shan Or )
- 2 whole Chicken Thighs, Chopped Into Bite Size Pieces
- 1 Tablespoon Fish Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
- 1/2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
- 15 whole Red Dates (more Or Less Depending On Your Preference)
- 1/4 cups Goji Berries
- 2 cloves Garlic, Thinly Sliced
- Cooked Rice, To Serve
- Bring your steamer up to a boil.
- Meanwhile, soak scallops and Chinese yam in some water for 10 minutes.
- Place chicken pieces in a heatproof bowl.
- Make sure bowl is large enough to contain juices that will run out.
- Add in fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce and pepper.
- Stir to coat chicken evenly.
- Drain scallops and Chinese yam.
- Toss in together with dates, goji berries and garlic slices.
- Once steamer is boiling, place bowl into steamer and steam on high for about 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked.
- Serve immediately with rice!
