Broccoli With Ginger Recipe
- 1 x clove garlic, chopped
- 1 piece fresh ginger root, 1/2 inch, grated
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 lb broccoli, cut into florets
- 1 med leek, thinly sliced white part only
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable stock
- 1 tsp tamari soy sauce
- Saute/fry ginger and garlic in oil for 1 minute.
- Add in the broccoli,leek, and stock.
- Toss together.
- Cover the pan and cook for 3 min.
- Remove the cover and continue to saute/fry till the vegetables are just tender, about 10 min.
- Fold in the tamari and serve immediately.
