Apple Ginger Jam Recipe

  1. Seed unpeeled orange and limes; finely chop.
  2. Pare apples and core; pare ginger.
  3. Coarsely chop apples and ginger.
  4. In a large saucepot bring orange, limes, apples, ginger and water to a boil; simmer, covered, till tender (about 40 min).
  5. Add in sugar and stir till dissolved.
  6. Bring to a boil and boil gently, uncovered, stirring often toward end of cooking, till thick (about 1 hour).
  7. Pack in containers.
  8. Store in freezer.
  9. This recipe yields about 10 c..
  10. Yield: 10 c.
