Apple Berry Crisp Recipe
- 4 c. Peeled, Cored, Sliced Apples
- 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 c. Unsweetned Berry Or possibly Apple Juice
- 2 tsp Butter Buds
- 2 Tbsp. Water
- 1/2 c. All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 c. Quick Cooking Oats
- 1/4 c. Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Grnd Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Preheat over to 375 degrees.
- Toss apples in cornstarch.
- Place in a 2 qt casserole or possibly deep-dish pie pan.
- Pour juice over apples.
- Mix Butter Buds and water.
- Combine flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon and salt.
- Moisten mix with Butter Buds and water mix just till crumbly.
- Scatter over apples.
- Bake till crisp on top, about 45 min.
- If crumb mix does not brown, place under broiler 3-5 min, watching carefully so it doesn't burn.
