Custard Pie Recipe

  1. Beat eggs slightly while gradually adding sugar.
  2. Add milk and other ingredients.
  3. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  4. Bake at 475 degrees for 25 minutes.
  5. After 25 minutes turn oven off but leave pie in for another 15 or 20 minutes.
  6. Remove when puffed and shimmers like jelly.
  7. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
