The Ultimate BLT
- 6 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 13 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
- 4 slices rustic Italian bread, toasted
- 20 arugula leaves, trimmed
- 12 slices bacon, cooked until crisp
- 4 tomatoes, sliced
- Heat oven to 400 Degrees.
- On a sheet of aluminum foil, toss together garlic and oil until well-coated.
- Fold and crimp to seal; roast 15 minutes or until golden and soft.
- Chop and place in bowl with mayonnaise; spread on bread slices.
- Top with arugula, basil, cooked bacon and tomato slices.
