Seasoned Rib Roast

  1. In a small bowl, combine the seasonings; rub over roast.
  2. Place roast fat side up on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
  3. Bake, uncovered, at 350F for 1 3/4 hours to 2 1/2 hours or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145F, medium 160F, well-done 170F).
  4. Remove to a warm serving platter.
  5. Let stand for 10-15 minutes before carving.
