BAKER'S Caramel Brownies

  1. HEAT chocolate and butter over low heat until butter is melted.
  2. Stir until smooth and stir in sugar.
  3. MIX in eggs and milk until well blended; stir in flour.
  4. SPREAD half the dough in greased 9 inch (23 cm) square baking pan.
  5. COOK caramels with milk in microwave oven on MEDIUM power for 3 minutes.
  6. Stir until smooth; drizzle over dough.
  7. SPRINKLE with 3/4 cup (175) mL nuts; spoon rest of batter over top.
  8. Top with remaining nuts.
  9. BAKE at 350F (180C) for 40 minutes.
