Meatloaf Wendelina
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 12 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 12 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 14 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Heat oven to 325.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, onions, bell pepper, garlic, salt & pepper.
- Mix with a meat mixer or your hands - but do not squeeze the meat.
- Form into a "log" and turn into a 10" meat loaf pan (one that drains).
- Bake uncovered for 10 minutes.
- While this is baking, mix up the sauce ingredients.
- Spread the sauce over the top of the meatloaf and bake for remaining 50 minutes.
