Grilled Catfish with a Lemon Garlic Marinade
- 1 whole Lemon, Juiced
- 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 whole Onion, Chopped Small
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 5 Catfish Fillets
- Combine the first 6 ingredients in a bowl or large freezer bag.
- Add the catfish and flip to coat the fish in the marinade.
- Cover the bowl with plastic or seal the bag.
- Marinate in the fridge for 40 minutes to 1 hour.
- Heat up your grill to medium high heat.
- I used charcoal.
- Place the fish on the grill.
- If you catfish has skin, grill flesh side first to get grill marks.
- Discard the marinade.
- Grill 5-8 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
- Remove from the grill and serve!
