Shrimp and Tasso Pasta
- 1 box (12 Oz. Size) Bowtie Pasta (I Used Penne Because I Didnt Have Bowtie And It Worked Quite Well)
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 pound Tasso Ham, Julienned
- 1 pound Shrimp, Peeled And Deveined
- 1 jar (15 Oz. Size) Alfredo Sauce (Any Type You Like)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 4 Tablespoons Green Onion, Chopped
- 4 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, Grated
- Cook pasta in boiling water to your taste.
- Drain and keep warm.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add tasso and saute to render fat.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about a minute, taking care not to burn the butter.
- Add Alfredo sauce and stir to incorporate.
- Add heavy cream and bring to a boil.
- Do not allow the sauce to reduce.
- Pour sauce over pasta.
- Top with green onion and cheese.
- Serve and enjoy!
