Shrimp and Tasso Pasta

  1. Cook pasta in boiling water to your taste.
  2. Drain and keep warm.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add tasso and saute to render fat.
  5. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about a minute, taking care not to burn the butter.
  6. Add Alfredo sauce and stir to incorporate.
  7. Add heavy cream and bring to a boil.
  8. Do not allow the sauce to reduce.
  9. Pour sauce over pasta.
  10. Top with green onion and cheese.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
