Halloween Swirl Cake

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour 12-cup Bundt pan; set aside.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl; set aside.
  3. Combine sugar, 1 cup butter and 1 teaspoon almond flavoring in another bowl.
  4. Beat at medium speed until creamy.
  5. Add eggs, one at a time, until well mixed.
  6. Add flour mixture, alternately with buttermilk, until well mixed.
  7. Place 3/4 cup batter into each of 3 bowls.
  8. Tint with food color to make orange, purple or green batters.
  9. Spread 1 cup white batter in pan to cover pan bottom.
  10. Drop remaining white batter and tinted batter by 1/4 cupfuls randomly into pan.
  11. Swirl batters gently, using table knife.
  12. (Do not over swirl.)
  13. Bake 55-65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  14. Cool in pan 10 minutes; invert onto serving plate.
  15. Cool completely.
  16. Combine powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon butter in bowl.
  17. Beat at low speed until well mixed.
  18. Add 1/4 teaspoon almond flavoring and enough milk for desired drizzling consistency; mix well.
  19. Divide glaze among 3 bowls; tint with food color to make orange, green or purple glaze.
