Candied Sweet Potatoes

  1. Wash the sweet potatoes and cut into chunks.
  2. Soak in water, then drain with a strainer.
  3. Line a frying pan with paper.
  4. Add the vegetable oil, potatoes, and sugar.
  5. Cover with a lid and heat on medium.
  6. When the lid becomes hot, use chopsticks to stir.
  7. Cook for 10~20 minutes on medium-low heat.
  8. Cooking time depends on how you cut the potatoes.
  9. They are ready when you can easily push a chopstick or skewer through.
  10. Toss with sesame seeds and serve on a plate.
  11. When opening the lid, wipe off the condensed water.
