Fried Pickle Steakburger
- 1-1/4 qt. flour
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1-1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 48 each sandwich pickle planks, 1/8 inch thick
- 24 each brioche sandwich rolls, split
- 1-1/2 cups unsalted butter, melted
- 24 each beef patties (80/20), 8 oz. each
- 24 slices Swiss cheese slices (1/2 oz.)
- 3 cups A.1. Thick & Hearty Steak Sauce
- 24 leaves leaf lettuce leaves
- 6 each tomatoes, cut into 8 slices
- 24 slices red onions, thinly sliced
- 48 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
- shaved smoked ham
- Mix flour, salt and pepper.
- For each serving: Dredge 2 pickle shanks in flour mixture.
- Fry in 350 degrees F oil for 1 to 1-1/2 min.
- or until golden brown; set aside.
- Brush cut sides of 1 roll evenly with 1 Tbsp.
- butter.
- Toast lightly on griddle; set aside.
- Season beef patty with additional salt and pepper to taste; cook on medium-high heat 6 min.
- on each side or to medium (160 degrees F) or desired doneness.
- Top with 1 cheese slice; cook until melted.
- Spread each cut side of roll with 1 Tbsp.
- steak sauce.
- Cover bottom half of roll with 1 lettuce leaf, burger, 2 tomato slices, 1 onion slice, 2 pickles, 2 bacon slices, 1 oz.
- ham and top of roll.
