Holiday Mulled Wine

  1. Heat all ingredients except wine; bring to boil, stirring occassionally.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
  3. Remove spices and zest; stir in wine.
  4. Heat but do not boil.
  5. NOTE:.
  6. Can make ahead 1 week in advance adding the wine at the last minute.
  7. If doubling, do not double salt.
