Frosted Apple Cinnamon Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Grease 13x9-inch baking pan; set aside.
  3. Combine flour, salt and baking soda in bowl; stir in oats.
  4. Combine butter, brown sugar and sugar in another bowl.
  5. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
  6. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until well mixed.
  7. Add flour mixture; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  8. Stir in cinnamon chips and apple.
  9. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  10. Bake 33-38 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  11. Cool completely.
  12. Combine all frosting ingredients in bowl.
  13. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
  14. Spread over cooled bars.
  15. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
  16. *Substitute 1 (10- to 12-ounce) package white baking chips and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
