Hearty Burgundy Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Heat oil in a large saucpan set over medium heat.
  2. Add Chunky pasta-style stewed tomatoes with tomato paste and red or white wine to the sauce pan.
  3. Add onions and garlic.
  4. Saute for 2 min.
  5. Add remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover and bring to a boil, stirring often.
  7. Then, reduce heat and simmer, stirring often for at least 5 min.
  8. Add a pinch of sugar if needed.
