Bisquick Yeast Rolls Recipe
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2/3 c. hot water
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. lard (soft)
- 2 1/2 c. Bisquick
- Melted butter
- Dissolve yeast in hot water.
- Stir in sugar, shortening and Bisquick.
- Beat vigorously.
- Turn dough onto floured surface.
- Knead till smooth.
- Shape into rolls.
- Place in greased pan.
- Cover with dish towel.
- Let rise till doubled in size about 30 min.
- Brush with melted butter.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 min or possibly till golden.
- Makes about 16 to 18 rolls.
