Christmas-Pretty White Chocolate Bark

  1. Melt the white chocolate.
  2. White chocolate is tempermental; do not use the microwave.
  3. It may harden in the microwave or develop a slight caramelized taste.
  4. Instead, recommends Chocolatier magazine, firm it up in the freezer, then grate it and melt in a double boiler.
  5. Mix in the coconut, pistachios, and cherries.
  6. Pour into a parchment-lined 9-inch square pan.
  7. Refrigerate 1 hour until set.
  8. For a beautiful presentation, cut the bark into rounds with a 2-1/2 inch cookie cutter.
  9. Or simply break into serving pieces.
