Beer Fried Onion Rings Recipe

  1. Combine flour and beer in large bowl; blend thoroughly with wooden spoon.
  2. Cover bowl; keep at room temperature at least 3 hrs.
  3. Divide onion rounds into individual rings.
  4. In large skillet, heat sufficient oil to drop in onion rings.
  5. Dip a few onion rings at a time into prepared batter, then into warm (375 degrees) oil; fry till golden.
  6. Place on cookie sheet lined with paper towels; keep hot in a preheated 200 degree oven.
