Furnace-Baked Meat Loaf
- 1 lb ground beef (85/15 or 80/20)
- 12 lb ground pork
- 1 cup rolled oats (oatmeal)
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 12 cup celery
- 1 large egg
- 14 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 12 black pepper
- 1 cup tomato juice
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Lightly grease or spray a 9 X 5 loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, except the tomao juice.
- Firmly pack into the loaf pan.
- Pour tomato juice on top.
- Cover tighlty with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
- Remove from pan & let set for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- Slice as desired.
