Chicken Dressing Casserole Recipe
- 4 c. cooked chicken, cut up
- 1 stick butter
- 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farms stuffing mix
- 1 (4 ounce.) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 c. chicken stock or possibly 1 can chicken broth
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- Heat butter, add in stuffing and mix well.
- Spread 3/4 of mix in bottom of greased casserole.
- Put chicken on top of stuffing, add in liquid removed mushrooms.
- Mix lowfat sour cream, chicken soup, and 1 c. chicken broth.
- Add in on top of mushrooms.
- Sprinkle rest of 1/4 stuffing mix over top.
- Pour remaining 1/2 c. broth over top.
- Bake for 45 min at 350 degrees.
- Can use leftover turkey also.
