Homemade Tater Tots
- 2 large Russet potatoes peeled and baked
- 4 oz Shredded cheddar
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 1/4 cup Flour
- 1 tbsp Black pepper
- 1 1/2 Sweet onion
- 1 1/4 tsp Cayenne powder
- For baked potatoes preheat oven too 450F place potatoes in for 35 min along with half onion till potatoes are soft outside little firm in middle.
- Peal skin off potatoes and grate on large holes of box grater, chop onion fine pieces.
- Mix all ingredients together, roll each tot to size you wish.
- Set deep fryer to 375.
- Deep fry 10 tots at a time, aproximately 7 mins each batch, till golden brown.
- Place in bowl with paper towels toss with salt to taste.
