Warm Winter Lemon Cake
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 14 water
- 2 (3 1/2 ounce) lemon flavor instant pudding and pie filling
- 13 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Preheat over to 350.
- Prepare cake as directed on package.
- Pour into greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Set aside.
- Pour milk and water into a large bowl.
- Add dry pudding mixes and granulated sugar.
- Beat together for 2 minutes or until well blended.
- Pour over batter.
- Place baking dish on a baking sheet to catch any boil over.
- Bake 55 minutes to an hour or until wooden toothpick inserted into center of cake layer comes out clean.
- Cool 20 minutes (sauce will thicken slightly as it cools).
- Sprinkle with powedered sugar.
- Spoon into serving dishes to serve warm.
- Store leftovers in refrigerator.
