Biscuit Pull Apart Coffee Cake Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees; spray large pie plate with non-stick spray.
  2. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Cut biscuits roughly into halves.
  4. Roll several halves at a time first in butter, then in sugar mix; arrange randomly in pie plate.
  5. When all biscuits have been coated, press proportionately into pie plate.
  6. Sprinkle with any remaining sugar mix and the minced nuts; drizzle with remaining butter.
  7. Bake for 25-30 min or possibly till lightly golden brown and center is hard.
  8. Allow to cold for 5-10 min before serving; best served hot.
  9. Variation: Stir 1 Tbsp.
  10. finely grated orange zest into melted butter; omit cinnamon.
  11. Proceed as directed above.
