Classic Whiskey Sour

  1. In a cocktail shaker with ice, add the egg white and shake briefly to aerate the whites.
  2. Then add the whiskey, lemon juice and Simple syrup with ice and shake well.
  3. Strain into 4 rocks glasses over 1 large ice cube in each glass, garnish with a cherry and serve immediately.
  4. Combine the sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
  5. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
  6. Remove from the heat and let cool completely.
  7. Keep covered in the refrigerator up to 1 month.
  8. Yield: 1 1/2 cups
