Mexene Shrimp

  1. Melt butter in medium pot on med low heat.
  2. Mix flour and chili powder in bowl, set aside.
  3. Add onion and saute till translucent.
  4. Add flour mix in with onion & butter in pot and cook about 5 -10 min on low to cook flour.
  5. Add shrimp at this point and stir till just starting to turn pink.
  6. Slowly add milk into shrimp & flour mixture while stirring, to help against clumps.
  7. Let cook for 5 minutes more then add ketchup, worcestershire and dash of garlic powder and let simmer 10 more.
  8. Serve over steamed whit rice.
