Savory White Cheddar Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Lightly grease 16 muffin tins.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; add chives and garlic and cook, 2 minutes; remove from heat.
  4. Let cool 2 minutes then whisk in buttermilk.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine baking mix and cheese; add buttermilk mixture, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
  6. Spoon batter into prepared pans.
  7. Bake 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Cool in pans 5 minutes.
