Squid Luau

  1. Cut the cooked squid or octopus into thin crosswise slices and set aside.
  2. Wash luau leaves thoroughly; remove stems and fibrous parts of veins.
  3. Place washed leaves in large saucepan; add water.
  4. Bring to a boil, lower heat, and simmer for 1 hour, stirring frequently.
  5. Drain luau leaves thoroughly; stir in coconut milk, salt, and squid.
  6. Heat but do not boil.
