Sesame Rice
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 12 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 12 cups hot water
- In a medium skillet, saute the sesame seeds in butter for 2-3 minutes or until golden.
- Add rice, celery and onion; saute until rice is browned.
- Spoon into a ungreased 3 quart baking dish.
- Dissolve bouillon and salt in water pour over the rice mixture.
- Cover and bake at 325 for 50 minutes or until rice is tender.
