Slow Cooker Pork Chops

  1. *Optional* I usually salt and pepper chops and sear them in a tablespoon or two of oil.
  2. This isn't a must - but I do prefer it this way.
  3. Chop onion - throw in bottom of crock pot.
  4. Place pork chops on top.
  5. In a small bowl add chicken broth and butter.
  6. Microwave 1 -2 minutes or until butter is melted.
  7. Mix.
  8. Mix in all your seasonings except for the salt and pepper.
  9. Pour broth / seasoning mixture over chops.
  10. Cover and cook on high 3 1/2 to 4 hours - until chops are tender.
  11. I usually add some fresh mushrooms during the last hour of cooking.
  12. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
  13. Enjoy : )
