Holiday Spiced Peaches Recipe
- 8-12 lg. canned peach halves
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
- 1 c. orange juice
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tbsp. red cinnamon candy
- 12 whole cloves
- Drain peach halves; rinse and pat dry.
- Set peaches aside.
- Combine all ingredients (except peaches) in a large saucepan; bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 min.
- Add in peaches and return to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 min.
- Chill.
- Serves 8 to 12 as a relish.
- NOTE: Can be prepared a week ahead.
