Pizza Sauce Recipe

  1. Blend tomatoes, green pepper, and onion in food processor.Add spices and bake in large pan at 325 degrees for 3 or 4 hours, or until cooked down by half.
  2. If your sauce is still not thick enough, use 1/2 to 3/4 tsp cornstarch with water and add to boiling mixture.
  3. Stir well.
  4. Put in hot jars and process to seal, using Blue Book for times.
  5. I add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the top of each jar to help maintain the color.
  6. Use 1 pint for 2 pizzas.
