Green Beans With Tomatoes and Basil

  1. Cook beans in a large pan of boiling salted water for 5 minutes.
  2. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, heat oil.
  4. Add onion and cook 2-3 minutes, or until softened.
  5. Add tomatoes, basil and parsley.
  6. Cook 3 minutes to heat and distribute flavors.
  7. Stir beans into pan and cook 5-6 minutes or until crisp tender.
  8. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
