Cuban Sandwiches

  1. Preheat the griddle.
  2. Slice the bread loaves in half.
  3. Smear the butter on the cut sides of the bread.
  4. Add a dash of mustard and mayonnaise.
  5. Build each sandwich with the roasted pork, ham, cheese, and pickles.
  6. Place the sandwich on the hot griddle, cover with a sheet of aluminum foil, and place heavy iron skillet or sandwich press to flatten.
  7. Grill the sandwich for a few minutes on each side.
  8. Slice in half diagonally and serve.
