Southern Comfort
- 3 (1 lb) bagsfrozen chopped collard greens (or substitute mustard or turnip greens)
- cooked ham, pieces or ham hocks or uncooked bacon, pieces
- 1 (16 ounce) bottlegeorge's original barbecue sauce (Used by Rachel Ray)
- 2 (15 1/2 ounce) cans black-eyed peas
- 4 cups water
- Add everything in one pot, and cook on Medium High until most of the water evaporates!
- (~ 1 hr) So easy a Redneck could do it!
- ENJOY!
- Serve with Biscuits or Corn Bread!
- Note- BBQ sauce is brand specfic to taste.
- It is made with vinegar, ketchup, apples, and spices.
- A truly Carolina BBQ Sauce.
