Tuna loaf II in a bell pepper
- 10 oz canned tuna packed in spring water
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp horseradish mustard
- 3 medium bell pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 salt
- 1/3 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/3 cup Brazil nuts
- Preheat oven 400 Fahrenheit
- Wash and cut bell peppers lengthwise, remove ribs and seeds.
- Toast the Brazil nuts.
- And chop them up.
- Caramelize the onions in a tablespoon of butter.
- Add salt and garlic.
- Mix mayonnaise, nuts, mustard, egg, onions, black pepper, and paprika.
- Stuff into a bell pepper half.
- Bake in oven 25 -30 minutes.
