Sauerkraut With Bacon Recipe

  1. Fry bacon crispy reserving grease.
  2. Break into bits.
  3. Save.
  4. Drain and rinse sauerkraut.
  5. In grease, over low heat, cook sauerkraut, slowly.
  6. Add in shredded cabbage, bacon and carrots.
  7. Simmer 2 hrs or possibly till cabbage is tender.
  8. Add in water as needed to keep moist.
