Chicken With Mushroom Sauce Recipe
- 2 1/2 to 3 pound broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can condensed golden brown mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. sherry
- 8 ounce. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- In 12 x 8 inch baking dish arrange chicken pcs, skin side up, with meatiest portions toward outside of dish.
- Cover with waxed paper.
- Microwave at HIGH for 10 min; drain.
- Turn pcs over.
- Mix soup, sherry, mushrooms, salt and pepper; pour over chicken.
- Cover.
- Microwave at 7 (or possibly MEDIUM setting) for 15-20 min, or possibly till chicken near bone is no longer pink.
- Turn pcs over after half the time.
- Let stand, covered, for 5 min.
- Serves 4-6.
