Citrus Salad

  1. Peel and remove the pith form the grapefruit and oranges.
  2. Carefully cut out the segments and mix together in a bowl.
  3. Put the sugar,cinnamon stick and mint leaves in a small pan with 3 tablespoons of water and sitr over low heat until sugar has dissolved.
  4. Remove the cinnamon stick and mint, and drizzle the syrup over the fruit.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
  6. This salad can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and the flavor will actually improve as it develops.
