Thin & Crispy Pizza Crust

  1. Combine flour, sugar, yeast and salt in a mixer and attach the dough hook and turn it on to let everything combine.
  2. Use a spoon if everything needs a little help getting incorporated into each other.
  3. While mixing, add the water and 2 tablespoons of the oil and mix until dough forms a ball.
  4. Scrape dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead until smooth.
  5. Form into a smooth ball.
  6. Grease a large bowl with the remaining 2 teaspoons of olive oil.
  7. Add dough, turning once to completely coat in oil.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap, a tea towel, or paper towel; place in a warm area and let rise until double in size, about 1 hour.
  9. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and divide into 2 equal pieces; cover each with a clean kitchen towel and let rest for 10 minutes.
  10. Spread dough onto a lightly oiled pizza pan until you get the shape you want.
  11. Top with your desired toppings and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, in a preheated 450-degree oven.
