Creamy Pasta with Ham and Peas
- 330 g fettuccine, uncooked
- 2 Tbsp. Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing
- 1 onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup 25%-less-sodium chicken broth
- 125 g (1/2 of 250-g pkg.) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, cubed
- 1 tsp. zest and 1 Tbsp. juice from 1 lemon
- 1 ham steak (175 g), chopped
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Meanwhile, heat dressing in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat.
- Stir in onions; cook 4 min.
- or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently and adding garlic for the last minute.
- Add broth and cream cheese; cook 3 min.
- or until cream cheese is melted, and sauce is well blended and heated through, stirring frequently.
- Stir in lemon zest, juice, ham and peas.
- Drain pasta; place in large bowl.
- Add sauce; mix lightly.
