Taisen's chili cheese hot dog w/tots

• 1 packages frozen tator tots
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 packages hot dogs ( any kind )
• 3 cans of beans ( I used northern and kidney beans )
• 1 box tomatoe sauce ( I used the 2 lb box , but you can use 2 of the 1 pound cans )
• 1 packages of hamburger ( I used almost 1 pound of meat )
• 3 garlic cloves minced
• 1 envelope McCormick mild chili powder ( less sodium one )

1. Chop up your onion and garlic cloves.
2. You can skip these if you don't want or like onion and you can use garlic powder if desired.
3. Use garlic powder as needed.
4. Start your chili by getting the beans , tomatoe sauce, garlic, black pepper, onion , chili powder and McCormick chili powder into a saucepan.
5. Mix well and cover on medium heat.
6. Cook your hamburger in a frying pan until no longer pink.
7. I like mine small, but you can leave it in bigger chunks if you prefer.
8. You can also leave out the meat if you want.
9. I also add chili powder to this while cooking.
10. Add your hamburger to the chili and mix well.
11. I left this to simmer for about 30 minutes or so.
12. Pre heat your oven to the temperature that the tator tot package says.
13. Start cutting up the velveeta cheese.
14. You can use as much as you like.
15. Set aside.
16. If you are using a block of cheese, shred that up into a bowl.
17. If not, skip this step.
18. Cook the tator tots for the time that the package says.
19. Boil your hot dogs.
20. You can skip this if you want, but I preferred to do this.
21. Cut up the hotdogs into bite sizes.
22. Set aside.
23. Take out the tator tots and set aside.
24. Turn the oven temperature to 350 .
25. Using a casserole dish , start by putting the tator tots on the bottom.
26. Then add in your cut up hotdogs.
27. Next , place the velveeta cheese cubes around the dish.
28. Then add a little of the shredded cheese.
29. Next , add in however much chili you want on top.
30. This will also help melt the cubes.
31. Last , but not least, add as much shredded cheese as you like on top.

34. Place this into your oven to heat up and melt the cheese.
35. This doesn't take very long at all.
36. I put mine in for about 15 minutes.
37. Pull the dish out of the oven.
38. Serve with a side or alone.
