Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks

  1. Prepare the topping: drizzle the finely chopped garlic with the oil and mix with salt and pepper.
  2. Wrap in foil ( i just make a little envelope out of a piece of foil) and roast in 375A oven about 10 min.
  3. Mix with melted butter.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Make the dough while garlic is roasting: mix water, sugar, yeast, stir until dissolve.
  6. Let sit 10 min until frothy, if it doesn't get frothy your yeast is no good.
  7. Mix flour, salt, oil.
  8. Add in yeast mix.
  9. Knead on floured surface 10 min, or until smooth and elastic.
  10. Shape into a ball, place in greased bowl, turning to coat all sides.
  11. Cover with Saran wrap and let rise about 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
  12. Divide in half, set each half in separate bowls and let rise 10 min.
  13. You can freeze one half, or both if u want.
  14. Roll one half into 7x10 in rectangle.
  15. Top with melted butter n garlic mixture.
  16. Top with parmesan.
  17. Cut into strips, twist each strip (opt.)
  18. And place on greased bake pan.
  19. Bake 16-17 min at 375A.
  20. Top with shredded cheese, bake additional 4-5 min.
  21. Enjoy with pizza sauce for dipping!
